MRM Konsult AB has a strong reputation in the area of contaminated land investigation, including the assessment of wood impregnation facilities and the management of hydrocarbon products. MRM’s mobile environmental laboratory is equipped, amongst other things, with photon ionisation detector and x-ray fluorescence technology for rapid onsite assessment. Rapid screening techniques improve the reliability of sample selection for analysis at an accredited, external laboratory.
By using geophysical measurement methods, such as ground penetrating radar, seismic sounding or resistivity measurements, cost effective investigations can be carried out from the soil surface. Features such as underground storage tanks can be identified using ground penetrating radar, while the direction of leachwater flow can be determined before monitoring wells are installed. MRM also offers quantitative groundwater flow models for site assessment purposes.
MRM Konsult AB can help property owners avoid unpleasant surprises by performing environmental audits and assessments on buildings.
